الأسماء التي تعد هي الأسماء التي لها مفرد و (a/e/i/o/u) ( an) (a) جمع و يوضع قبلها An apple /an umbrella /A book	هي الأسماء التي ليس لها مفرد أو milk . oil water جمع مثل الأسماء التي لا تعد مثل :1-المواد بصفة عامة gold /wood /iron /paper/beer/ 2-الأسماء المجردة مثل beauty /pride /coffee / homework 3- أسماء تنتهي ب s لكنها مفرد مثل news /physics / athletics *Some --- C/N Plural (UNC ) Some fruits /some vegetables *Any ----neg / questions? I havent any eggs . Do you have any sugar? Yes, I do
[/font]	Many بمعني كثير للعدد في النفي و الاستفهام /I havent got many friends /How many days in a week?	Much بمعني كثير للكمية في النفي و الاستفهام I havent got much rice . How much tea do you need?

لتحويل الأسماء التي لا نعد ألي أسماء تعد يضاف إليها :
A) piece of `/ a bit / sheet / slice /loaf)
جميع الأسماء التي لا تعد تعامل معاملة المفرد:

Comparing Quantities:

*-Alis glass has less juice than Yasmines glass.
*- Egypt exported less cotton in 2002 than in 2003. ( more )
*- Egypt exported more cotton in 2003 than in 2002.
