Because water has become rare and there is not enough water to cultivate more land to feed the people in the world.

He was born in 1812 in the south of England.

2-Why was his father went to prison?
His father went to prison because he had got into debt.

He saw how hard life was for poor people.

In 1834, he started work as a newspaper journalist. He was also writing magazine stories about life in London.

He wrote his novel "Oliver Twist "in 1838.

Dickens shows the dark side of the 19th century London.

Oliver grew up in a workhouse because his mother had died when he was born.

Because he was kind hearted man and he wanted to give Oliver a chance to start a new life.

They look like street children who have no parents or suffer very hard life.

Oliver had to obey Fagin and be one of the gang of thieves because he had no family or a place to live in.

13-Why was Oliver punished when he asked for more food?
Oliver was punished because he dared to ask for more food .It was a big mistake of him.
