Egypt wins African Cup of Nations title for 3rd time in a row

Egypt won the African Cup of Nations soccer tournament for the third consecutive time, as substitute Mohamed Gedo scored in the 85th minute Sunday for a 1-0 victory over Ghana in the final in Luanda, Angola.

Egypt scored 15 goals and conceded two on its way to the title and beat four World Cup qualifiers: Nigeria, Cameroon, Algeria and Ghana.
